The 65th Anniversary Admission Event – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)

I have removed the user name and password.

If you haven't provided me with your email address, and your last year attended at Cedarbrae, you will not appear on any of the class lists nor be able to see who is coming, who is not coming etc. Use the Contact Me forms depending on whether you were a Student, Faculty / Staff or in some cases you could be both.

I am trusting everyone to use valid email addresses, and I hope I do not have to revert to user names and passwords or additional security measures, should I get some unusual activities.

If you insist on using your Mobile Phone or even some tablets, you may find some of the width / viewing truncated even if you use Landscape mode / phone sideways

Testing this web site on all mobile phone types can be exhausting, so that's my user beware warning as I just don't have that time

Some iphones have a portrait lock enabled that only allows you to view a web site in narrow mode - This video shows iphone users how to remove that lock, and permit wider viewing

The Anniversary Event will be held  on Saturday May 9, 2026 from 12 noon to 4 PM at CCI - entrances by the Front of the school and the rear pool area

This is an Admission Event and not an Open House. Dress code is entirely casual.

Digital Tickets will be issued after receiving of payment, at a later date

Scanning of tickets by electronic means will be used to admit alumni and immediate family at the day of the event

The cost of a single ticket will be $20.41.

The cost of a Family ticket (Alumni and Partner) is $40.82.

The charges are for Alumni only, as we are not charging for children or immediate family.

Tickets are to be purchased direct through the Toronto District School Board's web site identifying Cedarbrae Collegiate as the recipient, and a specific drop down has been developed to identify your credit card payment is for the 65th Anniversary event. The TDSB charges a 2% credit card fee, thus the odd $.41 or $.82 amount such that the school nets $20 or $40 respectively. See the upcoming instructions on how to buy your ticket.

This is a Donation Event - You will receive a charitable donation tax receipt from the TDSB and in virtually all cases, you can expect to receive a credit on your income taxes for at least $4  per single ticket ($8 for Family), which means your true cost for this event is $16 or $32 respecively.

This Site Administrator does not collect any cash or take / receive any payments for tickets.

This is a fund raiser idea for the school and NOT a free Open House. The school's administration can use the donations for whatever they feel benefits the student population.

There are several incidental costs beyond volunteer time, such as caretaking staff for such a large event, pay duty police officers for crowd control, and other administrative entry costs and tickets etc.

Yes - you can buy tickets for other Alumni, but please indicate the Student Name and year, so that we can include them properly on the Who Is Coming Charts

This is a Meet-up Event that is in the early stages of development. All years from 1962 to current date are welcome to attend.

We are planning to publish some designated areas of the gymnasiums, hallways, class rooms, auditorium, cafeteria at various times for class years or decades, various sport clubs of the Dolphins, Rugby, Football, Hockey etc.

There may be some non-alcoholic refreshments, and other CCI apparel available for purchase.

We are expecting over 2,000 Alumni  (plus some family associates), plus former Teachers and Staff, to attend this magical event

A list of who has paid and committed to coming, is viewable upon entry of your email address under the Who Is Coming pages

This is a large scale event, so the logistics of parking is in process of development.

We fully expect the school parking lot to be overwhelmed, with overflow parking at the Community Centre, and Cedarbrae Mall Parking to be very tight.

We encourage Car Pooling - Further Plans and Details will be communicated closer to the event.

I need email addresses to be able to send you a digital ticket for admission scanning.

Email addresses are stored behind a secure firewall and they are not used for any solicitation - you can ask over 1,000 people who have been listed within this web site, and no one has received any solicitations.

Your last year attended is asked for so we can update the list of who is coming - Potential attendees would like some company from their years, so that they are not standing alone and forgotten!

If there is enough out of town travellers, perhaps someone can take the lead in a group rate of accommodation.

For those unable to make the event due to residence in other provinces, we would love to promote that you still were able to donate to this fund raiser.
