Lee Meredith
Hi, I’m a retired Finance Director of over 30 years and was named as a prestigious TELUS Legend for my employment with Clearnet & Telus.
If there’s some techno nerds among us, I taught myself how to code web sites so forgive some errors or inefficiencies in my role as Site Manager!
Cosmetics of colours, styles and proofreading are annoyingly time consuming in addition to testing displays on various phone models and tablets!
I was a leader in facilitating our 50th anniversary event and am returning for an encore.
As a Class of 76 alumni, I’m a sports enthusiast trying to find a golf game, and a hockey team that is worth watching!
Our Sponsors for 2026
We have no individual Sponsors at present

If you are interested in donating some additional funds beyond paying for other alumni, send me a message with the Contact Me form, and we can think about some promotional ideas such as funding the some name tag stickers, or cafeteria banners etc.

I will list your name and recognition here in addition to school displays

Our Volunteers for 2026
An event’s success is dependent on the contributions of volunteers to assist in many ways

It could be assisting with the event check-in meet and greet with or without electronic ticket scanning (hoping some tech students help us out). I’ll need some help in organizing class or sports group meet-ups and leader representatives once we get the itinerary nailed. In 2011 for the 50th Anniversary event we had a number of volunteers. If you are interested in donating some time, send me a message with the Contact Me form, and I will happily find a suitable role for you, yet at the same time allow you to enjoy the various meet-ups.

I will list your name and role here to set expectations and avoid duplication
Would be great to have some Class Representatives by year

My Mission
My Mission is simple – I want to gather enough Alumni and staff to celebrate the School’s heritage at a 65th Anniversary Event, and have some communication with past, and present Alumni. It would be great to have a significant donation for the School’s Administration to use – Let’s set a standard and bar for other schools to potentially copy!
Our Volunteers
An event’s success is dependent on the contributions of our volunteers to assist our leadership

It could be assisting with the event check-in shifts of meet and greet, electronic ticket scanning, organizing class or sports group partitions, signage, collecting ticket monies, promoting and contacting everyone they know to register here, coordinating sponsors, or working with the School’s Administration. If you are interested in exploring a volunteer role, use the Contact Us Form. We want to acknowledge you here!

We would like to thank in advance, Jan Freethy, Bernie Gardner, Jo Calabretta, Lynn Sinclair, Mike Clifford, Tracy Spence, Khristine Crooks, Kimberly Purdie, Myra Stacey, Kim Cooper, Terry Pilkey, Tom Smith, Laura Bird and we are sure there’s more to come
Class representative for the 1960’s decade is Wanda Jewell who is actively recruiting people and contacts!

Jill Weir-McLean
I attended CCI between 1971/72 and 1975/76 following which I entered the workforce as a legal secretary with the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General. For the past 43 years I have been a Senior (now quite!) Law Clerk and Office Manager with a small law firm in private practice. This, after being cautioned that I should not consider myself a candidate for a career in an office! I guess I’m not one to be told “I can’t”.

I was privileged to be a part of the Cedarbrae Alumni Executive in planning and carrying out some of the school’s 50th Anniversary events and am excited, once again, to be on the front lines in organizing this event in celebration of Cedarbrae’s 60th Anniversary. None of what was accomplished then or what will be accomplished now could be completed without the tireless efforts of a huge number of volunteers.

After graduating in 1976 (I was there for 76-77, but that’s another story), I spent 30+ years in law enforcement with the Toronto Police Service. I then joined the private sector and worked as an investigator for TD Insurance for several years and I am currently self employed.
I was a member of the awesome organizing committee for our 50th Anniversary Events and in particular the very successful pub nite. I am once again excited to be involved as a part of our 60th Anniversary event committee and look forward to reconnecting with the many school alumni.
I now spend my time with my 4 grandchildren and have freed up substantially more time for golf and relaxation.
Our Mission
Our Mission is simple – We want to preserve and celebrate the School’s heritage, and maintain communication with past, and present Alumni. We also want to have an organized good time at our events!
